I thank the member for some notice of the question. Unfortunately I have not
been able to get that answer. I am told that the difficulty is in having to go
back and source original invoices to find out whether the payments made to
Resolutions Consultancy were to utilise the Signs of Safety program or for some
of those other things the member referred to. However, I am told that that
information will be available tomorrow and I will provide it to the member.
The Signs of Safety program was
developed in Western Australia. It has subsequently been taken up in multiple
countries. For example, I know that it has been taken up in the United Kingdom,
Japan and New Zealand, in Scandinavian countries and in many states of the
United States. I hope that I will be on the end of a telephone call to the
state of Alabama to formally endorse the Signs of Safety program. I cannot
remember at last count how many, but about 10 or 12 countries are now adopting
the Western Australian–developed Signs of Safety program and other
states of Australia are doing the same. In September this year Western
Australia will host a gathering of people from all over the world to become
involved in and share their knowledge, experience and learning around the Signs
of Safety program. It is something to be truly celebrated that a Western
Australian invention or creation such as this has gone worldwide in its
application. It is being seen as a really high standard of service. I
appreciate the question asked by the member. I have not been able to get the
information precisely in the way he wants at this stage, but the member will
have it tomorrow.
