Witness Protection (Western Australia) Act 1996
Annual Report 2011-2012, and I ask —
(1) Regarding the two operations terminated from the State Witness Protection Program (SWPP), what was the reason for the termination?
(2) Regarding the 23 participants including children in the SWPP, how many separate households does this figure represent?
(3) When are the amendments to the Act referred to at page 3 of the Annual Report intended to be introduced to Parliament?

(1) The two operations terminated from the State Witness Protection Program during the 2011-2012 financial year were both terminated at the request of the participants, who requested in writing to withdraw from the Program. The participants were subsequently terminated from the State Witness Protection Program in accordance with Section 25 (1) of the
Witness Protection (Western Australia) Act 1996
.
(2) 12 separate households.
(3) The introduction of amendments into Parliament is subject to Government Legislative programming.
