I refer to the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) negotiated enterprise agreement for public servants in Western Australia, which comes to an end in June 2019 and new claims for the nominal two year Public Service and Government Officers CSA General Agreement 2019, and ask: (a) Has the State Government undertaken any modelling to show: (i) How much the CPSU’s claim of a 2 per cent salary increase for 12 months from 13 June 2019 would cost; and (ii) How much the CPSU’s claim of a 2.5 per cent salary increase 12 months later would cost; (b) How many public servants does the State Government anticipate would receive pay increases should the State Government agree to the new claims; (c) Does the Minister support public sector wage growth in Western Australia following more than 20 months of wage growth capped at $1000 per year; and (d) When does the Minister anticipate WA will meet the national average growth in wage price index?
