In respect of the Minister’s portfolio responsibilities for any of their departments, agencies, government trading enterprises or boards I ask: (a) as at 1 July 2017 are there any vehicles owned or under lease which have not been procured through existing state fleet arrangements and if so: (i) what is the make, model and associated cost of each vehicle; (ii) what is the registration nature of each vehicle (i.e. q-plate etc.); (iii) were any accessories fitted to the vehicle and if so, what were they and what did they cost; and (iv) why was each vehicle procured external to the state fleet arrangement; and (b) as at 1 July 2017, how many vehicles were owned or under lease which were procured through the state fleet?

(i)-(iv) One x Q-plated Holden Rodeo Space cab 4x4 $30,818. This vehicle is a research station vehicle and was purchased direct as the limited on farm use allows the vehicle to be retained beyond the maximum six year state fleet leasing arrangement.
11 vehicles purchased directly for Fisheries Division – used for law enforcement purposes. It is not considered appropriate to release identifying information. These vehicles purchased are similar in standards to those available under the state fleet arrangements and the costs are comparable.
