(a) The five year Statewide smoke alarm program for the Department of Housing and Works commenced in September 1997 and was completed in 2002.
The combined total cost for the supply and installation of smoke alarms in the Pilbara and Kimberley area was $445,000.00 which equates to 11% of the total program.
(b) All towns where the Department of Housing and Works has properties were included in the program.
(c) The program is completed and funds were expended through the Department of Housing and Works Maintenance section.
(d) The programs in all areas referred to have been completed.
