(2) The landowners have expressed concern as to the standard of pasture rehabilitation carried out by Cable Sands on the landowners' property. (3) The action taken by the DEP in response to those concerns includes: DEP site inspections, request for rehabilitation audits to be undertaken by Cable Sands, and request for a review of the rehabilitation monitoring programme in consultation with the Department of Agriculture. (4) Yes. The request was made as a component of a draft Audit Table issued to Cable Sands on 22 March 2000. (5) 22 March 2000, although the request was not made a statutory requirement. (6) None. The reporting requirement was subsequently replaced by an alternative mechanism. (7) In response to the draft Audit Table, a request was made by Cable Sands on 16 April 2000 to remove this reporting requirement on the grounds that it was unreasonable and outside the bounds of the environmental condition. DEP responded on 19 July 2000 accepting Cable Sands' request, provided that Cable Sands included satisfactory evidence of consulting with landowners in the annual reports. Relevant departments, including the landowner, will be consulted in determining Cable Sands completion of the rehabilitation of the former pasture land to a self sustaining and environmentally stable condition.
