Hon NIGEL HALLETT to the Leader of the House representing the Premier: In a letter to the Premier dated 1 February 2007, two constituents, Messrs Brusaschi and Osborn, raised a number of concerns about the funding and the operations of Connect South West Association Incorporated. That letter was acknowledged on 5 February 2007—reference number 200700961—and more than one year later, the constituents are still awaiting a formal response. Will the minister please advise if more than 12 months is considered an acceptable time frame in which to address concerns, and when a detailed response can be expected? Hon KIM CHANCE

The correspondence addressed to the Premier, dated 1 February 2007, to which the honourable member refers, was answered in a letter from the Minister for South West—reference number 17-015165. In his letter, the minister explained that he was responding on behalf of the Premier.
