I refer to the Minister’s letter 30-36856 dated 22 April 2013 which states: “…the Public Transport Authority is currently undertaking planning and design work for the extension of the Thornlie Line through to the Mandurah Line. This will accurately define the demand, scope and cost of the work and operational implications…” and I ask:
(a) who is undertaking the demand analysis for this extension;
(b) when is this report due to be delivered to the Public Transport Authority (PTA);
(c) does this new analysis and the planning and design work suggest that the Government is actively considering advancing the Thornlie Line extension to before 2031;
(d) are the costings of extending the Line through to the Mandurah Line given in this Parliament on 15 November 2012 as $240 million by the Member for Southern River official Government costings; and
(e) when will the Government publish the final Transport Plan?
