The Department of Housing and Works has advised:
Under the
Machinery of Government (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2006
:
The State Housing Commission Board; and
the Government Employees Housing Authority Board.
The boards of the State Housing Commission and Government Employees Housing Authority (GEHA) were merged into the State Housing Authority to be governed by the Chief Executive Officer. The legislation has resulted in GEHA becoming a business division, known as Government Regional Officers' Housing (GROH), of the Housing Authority.
