BURRUP AND MAITLAND INDUSTRIAL ESTATES AGREEMENT — LETTER TO MR PETER SHARP
I refer to the Burrup and Maitland Industrial Estates Agreement Implementation Deed executed by the state, LandCorp and the Ngarluma Yindjibarndi, Yaburara Mardudhunera and the Wong-goo-tt-oo registered native title claimants in 2002, and a letter sent to Mr Peter Sharp, director of parks and visitor services at the Department of Environment and Conservation, dated 13 March 2009 from Thomas Legal. (1) On what date was the letter received? (2) Will a reply to the letter be forthcoming; and, if so, when? (3) Why has it taken so long to respond to the letter? (4) Has the department resolved the matters outlined in that letter? (5) If no to (4), why not? Hon DONNA FARAGHER
