LOTTERYWEST GRANTS
1056. Hon PETER COLLIER to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I have my two questions and five
from other members, Madam President.
I refer to the Lotterywest grants
process.
(1) Who are the current members of
the Lotterywest board?
(2) What
criteria are used to determine the success or otherwise of a grant proposal to
Lotterywest?
(3) Are the
criteria for consideration of proposals for grants in written form; and, if
yes, will the Leader of the House table the table the document; and, if not,
why not?
(4) What is the process to
determine the success or otherwise of a grant proposal?
(5) Are there any
specific issues that would prevent a particular organisation's grant
proposal from being successful; and, if yes, what are those issues?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
As I indicated to the member behind
the Chair, I have the answer, but there is an element of it that I am not
satisfied with. I give the Leader of the Opposition an undertaking to provide
the answer tomorrow.
