I refer to the requirement for details of the use of consultants to be tabled in the Parliament and ask -
(1) Why has no report been tabled for the six months to 31 December 2005?
(2) When was the initial draft of this document completed?
(3) Has the Minister received or seen a copy of this report, in either a draft or final form, and if so when?
(4) When will this report be tabled?

(1-4) Following the Auditor General's comments and recommendations regarding the implementation of the 1994 Premier's Circular "Report on Consultants Engaged by Government" in his Public Sector Performance Report in May 2005, the reporting process was reviewed and a revised Circular issued in October 2005. There is no deadline to be met for the tabling of these reports in Parliament. The report for the six months to 31 December 2005, however, is currently being finalised and is anticipated to be tabled during the next month.
