Further to the minister’s answer to question on notice 4187, will the minister please explain the reasons for - (a) a 50 per cent reduction in discharges of people with mental health diagnoses from the Swan Health Service over the past two years; (b) Armadale Health Service’s ability to discharge more than double the number of people with mental health diagnoses in 2005-06 compared with the Swan Health Service, when the mental health facilities are almost identically sized; and (c) a 100 per cent increase over the past two years in the number of patients with mental illnesses who have returned to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital within three days of discharge?
