Cotton bush declaration under the Agriculture and Related Resources Protection Act 1976 is as follows: P1 (introduction prohibited), P3 (control): That portion of the State constituted as the Albany region under Section 13 of the Protection Act, and the municipal districts of Katanning, Woodanilling, Kojonup, Broomehill, Dumbleyung, Tambellup, Gnowangerup, West Arthur, Kent and Jerramungup, and P1 (introduction prohibited), P4 (containment): Those portions of the State constituted as the Esperance, Katanning, Manjimup, Albany, Narrogin, Cunderdin, Northam, Busselton, Harvey and Lakes regions under Section 13 of the Protection Act. The Agriculture Protection Board assigned these declaration categories following its review of Declared Plants on the 30 June 1998. The Board subsequently changed the declaration of Cotton bush in the Esperance Shire on the 3 February 2000, from P1, P3 to P1, P4 to reflect the appropriate level of regulation required within the Shire. 2.
