I refer to media reports that the
Attorney General is seeking to introduce legislation amending political
donations and disclosure laws.
(1) Will the proposed legislation
include a cap on political expenditure per electorate?
(2) How will the spending cap be
determined?
(3) Will the
Attorney General consult with political parties and Independents when
determining such a cap?
