I refer to the proposed swimming pool at Leonora. (1) What was the amount that the Government promised the Shire of Leonora prior to the last election that it would contribute to a town swimming pool? (2) Is that funding forthcoming; and, if not, why not? Hon TOM STEPHENS

(1)-(2) I assume that the promise of funding by the previous Government, if that existed - Hon George Cash: Your Government promised it. Hon TOM STEPHENS: That would be in the sport and recreation budget rather than the local government budget. Hon George Cash: Last week I was told by representatives at Leonora that you were handling it. If that is not the case - Hon TOM STEPHENS: It may well be. Hon George Cash: Would you care to get some information? Hon TOM STEPHENS: I will. Bits and pieces have come through the community sporting and recreation facilities fund. About four pre-election commitments are being dealt with through that fund. Hon Norman Moore: Is it coming out of the $75 million fund? Hon TOM STEPHENS: No. It is not out of the $75 million fund but out of the community sporting and recreation facilities fund. I will need to check on that and get back to the member.
