I refer to the engagement of consultant Price Waterhouse Coopers, listed in the
Report on Consultants Engaged by Government: For the Six Months Ended 30 June 2010
, for further development of the Independent Public Schools (IPS) Strategy, and I ask:
(a) is this the same contract for consultant services for which approval was sought from the Department of Premier and Cabinet by Lian Borlace, Director Strategic Procurement, on 11 March 2010; and
(i) if so, why is the cost listed as $0.00 when the above request cited an estimated contract value of $150,000;
(b) if the purpose of this contract is for further development, who completed the initial development of IPS Strategy and what was the total cost;
(c) if the initial development of the IPS Strategy was completed by a private consultant, why is it not listed in any of the reports on consultants engaged by Government;
(d) was a report on the initial development of the IPS Strategy completed and delivered to the Department; and
(i) if not, why not;
(e) is the report available publicly; and
(i) if so, where can it be obtained; and
(ii) if not, will the Minister table the report; and
(A) if not, why not; and
(f) were any draft reports on the initial IPS Strategy received by the Department prior to the delivery of the final report; and
(i) if so, how many draft versions were received prior to receipt of the final report?
