representing the Minister for Corrective Services, I thank the honourable
member for some notice of the question.
The Department of Justice advises
as follows.
(1) No.
(2) The Office of
the Inspector of Custodial Services is an independent statutory body that
reports directly to Parliament. Recent reports tabled in Parliament indicate
that reports take approximately 12 months to publish from time of inspection.
