In order to maximise effective utilisation of the nursing workforce, WA Health deploys nurses in a flexible manner across multiple sites and services. Currently, WA Health does not operate a single Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and therefore, employees may be recorded on multiple systems. Until WA Health migrates to a single corporate system, it is not plausible to identify the same individual recorded in different HRIS. For this reason, the figures stated may include employees working at multiple sites.
