809. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the minister representing the
Treasurer:
(1) What is the current price of
iron ore as measured by Treasury?
(2) What was the average iron ore
price for the first quarter of the 2021–22 financial year?
(3) What was the
total iron ore royalty income by month for the first quarter of the 2021–22
financial year?
(4) What was the
total iron ore royalty revenue to the state in the first nine months of the
2021 calendar year?

(1) The current price is $US123.35
per tonne.
(2) The average price was $US163.8
per tonne.
(3)–(4) This
information will be available following the release by Treasury of the
September Quarterly financial results report , which will be within 60
days of the end of the quarter.
