I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has supplied the following answer - The Western Australia Police advice is as follows - (1)-(2) The police advise that due to operational sensitivities, specific information relating to staffing levels of individual police stations will not be provided. District superintendents deploy available resources within their district to provide the best possible policing service to meet the very needs of the community. The approved strength for the south west police district is: 209 sworn officers; 18.19 police staff; and four Aboriginal police liaison officers. (3)-(5) The placement of the police station is included in the Western Australia Police 10-year capital investment plan. This plan is reviewed annually, culminating in the capital works budget submission, typically in November. The priority for this project will be reviewed as part of the agency’s 10-year capital investment plan. (6) Not applicable.
