(1) I am advised that the BCIT Board considered BCITF involvement in the CRC for Construction application at its meeting on 1 August 2000 deciding to continue that involvement and await the decision of the CRC selection committee prior to further considering the matter. (2) The Chairman advised that the BCIT Board authorised the Director to proceed with a statement of intent from the BCITF regarding the CRC for construction, on the basis that no formal or binding commitment was required, and that the Board would be free to determine whether or not to continue its association with the CRC application.
