Kim Beazley is going in exactly the right direction. We need an industrial relations system that is flexible. In Western Australia we have supported an industrial relations system that allows for individual bargaining, but it must be underpinned by minimum standards and conditions. If it is not underpinned by minimum standards and conditions, people will be open to exploitation. Obviously, we do not want that, and I would not have thought the Leader of the Opposition would either.
