(1) How many police resigned in
March 2024?
(2) How many police retired in
2024? It should be March 2024; I might need to change that.
(3) What was the total number of
police officers as of 31 March 2024?
(4) Of those referred to in (3),
how many were —
(a) male;
(b) female; and
(c) other?

member, I do have an answer to (2), but I am not sure —

take it either way.
Hon STEPHEN DAWSON : I will
give the Leader of the Opposition the answer that I have, noting that it might
not be for March. It might be for the whole of 2024.
The Western Australia Police Force
advises —
(1) There were 21.
(2) There were 37.
(3) There were 7 034.
(4) (a) There were 5 293 males.
(b) There were 1 741 females.
(c) There were zero others.
