I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Yes. Ordnance has been discovered in two small areas where a vessel was loaded in 1947. (2) Since the ordnance has been discovered there has been full risk assessment, including a risk management conference involving the port authority, WorkSafe WA, the Police Service, bomb disposal experts, the Australian Navy, contractors, dredging operations and engineers. (3) Measures that have been taken to reduce the risk include alterations to the dredge, the introduction of specific safety measures and the development of a full management plan. The restrictions put in place by WorkSafe after the discovery of the ordnance have been lifted.
