Public Transport Authority -
(a) 1339
(b) (i) 1223 (includes 1163 buses)
(ii) 116
(c) (i) 925
(ii) 1
(iii) 413 [409 Compressed Natural Gas, 3 Dual Fuel (Petrol and  LPG) and 1 Electric Hybrid)]
(d) (i) 104
(ii) 1235
(iii) nil
(e)  Public Transport Authority Fleet Management Policy requires all vehicles tomeet  (or be below) the CO
2
carbon emission rating. Where required vehicles exceed this benchmark, the Public Transport Authority does consider LPG powered vehicles.
Dept Planning & Infrastructure -
Department for Planning and Infrastructure and the Western Australian Planning Commission:
(a)  235
(b) (i) 142
(ii) 93
(c) (i) Petrol 132, Diesel 58 (Total 190)
(ii) 3
(iii) Hybrid Electric 39, Electric 3
(d) (i) 205
(ii) 26
(iii) 1
(e)  DPI Vehicle Policy requires that first choice for 6 cylinder passenger vehicles should be LPG, second choice dual fuel, and third choice unleaded fuel.
Main Roads WA -
(a)  407
(b)  (i) 161 including AWD wagons
(ii) 246
(c)  (i) 264 (including 10 Hybrid Toyota Prius's)
(ii) 117
(iii) 0 (see (i) above for Hybrid Toyota Prius's)
(d) (i) 209
(ii) 190
(iii) 8 (Toyota Landcruiser Utilities traversing unformed roads / tracks in northern WA)
(e) In line with the WA Governments' LPG Policy Main Roads acquire LPG powered vehicles where operationally suitable and where they operate in areas serviced with LPG outlets. Opportunities to increase the number of LPG vehicles in Main Roads are limited as large proportion of the fleet operate in remote areas within Western Australia where LPG is not available. A considerable proportion of the fleet are also commercial vehicles which are unsuitable for LPG as the traverse unformed roads/tracks requiring diesel power, are hybrid or are small 4 cylinder vehicles not economically viable for conversion.
Disability Services Commission -
(a) 385
(b) (i) 385
(ii) 0
(c) (i) 332 (petrol), 32 (diesel)
(ii) 21 (comprising 12 dedicated LPG and nine dual-fuels)
(iii) 0
(d) (i) 326
(ii) 59
(iii) 0
(e) 35 per cent of the Commission's 6-cylinder vehicles are LPG powered. This exceeds the current government policy (quota) of 25 per cent. When a motor vehicle is due for replacement, the Commission will always investigate the opportunity for replacing the vehicle with an LPG powered vehicle.
