The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has provided the following answer - (1) A number of key strategies are in place in Meekatharra, including a “no tolerance” approach to antisocial behaviour; the officer in charge proactively interacting with other agencies in the town in an effort to identify collaborative solutions to law and order issues; and the officer-in-charge position being upgraded to senior sergeant.
