Answer for the South West health region as at 11 October 2016-
(1)The following are employed by WA Country Health Service in the South West region.
(a) 11.75 FTE child speech pathologists;
(b) 5.5 FTE child occupational therapists;
(c) 1.0 FTE child audiologists;
(d) 2.3 FTE child social workers.
(2) Current vacancies are:
Recruitment for these positions is underway.
(3) All referrals are prioritised and high priority referrals for Child Development are seen within two weeks. The average wait times for non-urgent consultation with each of the services listed in (1) are as follows:
