Social housing—Inglewood
134. Mr David Bolt to the Minister for Housing and Works:
I refer to the
public comment that the minister will review the cohort tenancy mix and
management of the social housing complex on Ninth Avenue.
(1) Is the review currently underway?
(2) When can residents expect to know the outcome
of that review?

(1)–(2) I really need to be clear on this.
There is a set legal process and due process. As a government and as a
minister, I will always look to see how we can do better in all our policies of
government, including housing policies. But in terms of the individual
tenancies of that complex, which has now been well versed on the public record,
I am not able to discuss individual tenancies. I have been on the record to say
that the department is taking action on individual tenancies. However, there is
a risk that if legal due process is not followed, any action—for
example, eviction—may fail.
