(1)-(2) $2 million is allocated in the 2017-18 State Budget to develop the necessary Business Case and Project Definition Report for the proposed Karnup Station. This work will include development of the cost estimate and land acquisition requirements.
(3) As at 10 October 2017, the Minister’s office has not been approached regarding land acquisition for Karnup station.
(4)-(5) Refer to answer for parts (1)-(2)
(6) Approximately 31,000, including Karnup, Secret Harbour, Golden Bay, Singleton, Lakelands and Madora Bay.
(7) Approximately 60,000 by 2036.
