(1) Yes.
(2) I am advised that the Minister is yet to receive the Department of Environment and Conservation's (DEC) response to the five year review report of the Perth Air Quality Management Plan. The Minister will be able to comment on the success of the plan once she has considered the review.
(3) A review of the Perth Air Quality Management Plan was required after five years of implementation, following the release of two implementation documents in 2002, the
Implementing the Perth Air Quality Management Plan - Detailed Supporting Document
and
Implementing the PerthAir Quality Management Plan - Summary Document.
The five year review was initiated in 2007.
(4-5) DEC has advised that the review report was sent to the then Minister for the Environment in January 2008. The Minister requested in May 2008 that DEC draft a Government response to the report, however, this was not completed prior to the 2008 State election. Further revisions to the response report have since been made and the report is currently being finalised.
(6) Yes.
(a)  Not applicable.
(b)  I have been advised that DEC expects to provide its response to the review report to the Minister for consideration by the end of June 2010.
