I refer to the dissatisfaction that has been expressed concerning the planning process for the Mt Herschel development, which originally excluded a public comment period. Following protest, a month long public comment period was announced, but this has been poorly promoted.
Can the Minister please advise -
(1) Will the Minister ensure that the results of the recent public comment period, including original comments and not summaries or interpretations, which closed on 21 February, be made publicly available?
(a) If not, why not?

The results of the public comment period have been formulated by an evaluation panel into a set of recommendations that now form part of the contract negotiation process. A report which adheres to the Consulting Citizens Guide and the Freedom of Information Act 1992 will be released as soon as practicable.
