I refer to the Kwinana Newgen
gas fired power plant that provides energy into the South West Interconnected
System, and I ask: (a) has Synergy been asked for
public funding which would be provided to Newgen by any person in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 to date; (b) if yes to (a): (i) by whom; (ii) when was the request made; and (iii) how much was it for; (c) has Synergy asked for or
recommended to the Government that public funding to be provided to Newgen in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 to date; (d) if yes to (c), when was the
request or advice given and in what form; and (e) please table that request or
advice from parts (a) and (c)?
