Now that a brief of evidence has been submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions for consideration of prosecution of John Gillespie and William Round on possible charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and/or perjury, is the Commissioner of Police investigating evidence given by the following serving or former police offices in the trials and successive appeals of Ray, Brian and Peter Mickelberg to determine whether those officers also should be brought before juries on similar charges: Andrew Tovey, James Allen, Ljiliana Cvijic, Henry Hooft, Frank Bower, Kenneth Henning and Robert Kucera? The Commissioner of Police has been provided with legal advice and on the evidence presently available there is not a reasonable prospect of conviction.
