❓ Mr. Hyde questions the government regarding planning/heritage bonuses, variations to planning codes, and potential relocation of public servants to the redeveloped Treasury Buildings. (a) None; there has been no application for bonuses as yet. If applicable to the final development proposal, this will be the responsibility of the Developer following execution of the Development Agreement between the Developer and the State
(b) This is still to be determined between the Developer and relevant approving authorities.
(c) No; to the contrary, the Old Treasury Buildings redevelopment is identified as a potential Government office precinct as part of the Perth CBD consolidation strategy in the
Government Office Accommodation Master Planning Discussion Paper
released by the Department of Treasury in Finance in June 2010.
(d) Government tenants for the Old Treasury Buildings redevelopment have yet to be confirmed. The
Government Office Accommodation Master Planning Discussion Paper
suggests the redevelopment could accommodate a "Justice Precinct". This proposal was supported by the Premier in announcing the redevelopment project on 12 October 2010.
(e) None; see (a) above.
(f) This is still to be determined between the Developer and the City of Perth.
