1317. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the
minister representing the Minister for Planning:
(1) Does the
government still support linking the future Curtin Avenue directly to Stirling
Highway in North Fremantle?
(2) What impact will this connection have on the volume of
traffic using Curtin Avenue?
(3) If no to
(1), what is the purpose of the proposed reservation between these two roads,
which was released last week?
(4) Does the
government support an increased road reservation for Walter Place and Port
Beach Road in North Fremantle?
(5) If yes to (4), what is the purpose of this reservation?

(2) The question should be directed to the Minister for
Transport.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) Yes.
(5) Road reservation increases are mainly for drainage and earthworks
purposes.
