VACCINE SAFETY SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM ANNUAL REPORT
754. Hon JAMES HAYWARD to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the WA Vaccine Safety
Surveillance System annual report for 2022.
(1) Noting the
minister advised the 2022 WAVSS annual report was scheduled to be published in
July 2023, can the minister table the report?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) How many adverse events
following vaccination were recorded in the 2022 calendar year?
(4) If the answer
to (3) is not available, why is the minister not aware of the number of adverse
events following vaccination seven months after the end of the reporting
period?

AnswerView source ↗

(1) No.
(2) Significant
review and cleaning of the data has delayed the anticipated July 2023 release
date. The data and analysis for the 2022 annual report is being finalised and,
following review, the anticipated publish date is September 2023.
(3) It is not yet available.
(4) As per the response to (2).
