Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to the answer to my question
without notice on 12 March 2024.
(1) Has the child recorded as
missing been found?
(2) For how many days has the
whereabouts of the child been unknown?
(3) How many days after they were first unaccounted
for did the department report the child to Western Australia Police
Force as a missing person?
(4) How many children who are in the care of the CEO have
their whereabouts currently recorded as —
(a) unaccounted for—in
contact;
(b) unaccounted for—not in
contact; or
(c) missing?

Minister for Child Protection.
The Department of Communities
advises as at 19 March 2024 —
(1) Yes.
(2) It was three days.
(3) The Department
of Communities reported the child missing to Western Australia Police Force the
same day that Communities was notified of their whereabouts being unknown.
(4) (a) There are
six.
(b) Nil.
(c) Nil.
