I refer to the multimillion-dollar
Scarborough foreshore redevelopment and the Minister for Police's
various property and commercial interests within and just outside the
redevelopment zone.
(1) Has the minister declared all
property and other interests under the Ministerial Code of Conduct?
(2) If yes to (1), on what date or
dates were declarations made?
(3) Was it
determined whether a perceived or actual conflict of interest existed in
relation to the minister's interests?
(4) If yes to
(3), how is the minister managing that potential for a perceived or actual
conflict of interest?
(5) If no to (3), on what basis was
it determined that no perceived or actual conflict existed?

some notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) Disclosures of pecuniary and other
interests under the Ministerial Code of Conduct are updated annually. In
addition, any significant changes in declared interests are disclosed in
supplementary statements within four weeks of becoming aware of the changes.
The minister, like all members, also updates disclosures annually under the
Members of Parliament (Financial Interests) Act 1992.
(3)–(5) In relation to managing
matters surrounding the Scarborough beach development, I refer the member to
the answer to Legislative Council question without notice 647 of 2013.
