SCHOOLS — SUPPLEMENTARY FUNDING
1013. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
Minister for Education:
I refer to the supplementary funding for managing challenging
behaviours that was previously provided through regional offices to schools.
For what sort of intervention and assistance did schools use this money?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
Supplementary funding was provided to regional education offices to assist in
the management of specific cases of students with challenging behaviour. It has
been used for a range of targeted interventions at the discretion of the
regional executive director. This funding is in addition to the $16.445 million
schools receive for behaviour management as part of the school support program
resource allocation.
