1356. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to question without notice 1121 asked on 13 October
2014 where the minister confirmed in his answer that Main Roads Western
Australia has been and is still investigating the various options for crossing
the Swan River and duplicating or replacing the bridges in Fremantle.
(1) Can the
details of various options that Main Roads is investigating for crossing the
river be explained or provided?
(2) What treatments are being considered for the intersection
of Stirling and Canning Highways?
(3) Has or is
Main Roads investigating access to the port from the Stirling Highway Bridge
through North Fremantle?
(a) If yes to
(3), is an upgrade of Tydeman Road being considered
or are other options being considered?
(b) If yes to (a), what are they?
