VERVE ENERGY — COAL SUPPLY CONTRACTS
I refer to question without notice 519. (1) Does the minister intend to approve any new coal-fired power stations? (2) Does the minister intend to approve any new coal supply contracts? (3) How is the minister planning to meet the future electrical load growth? (4) The answer supplied by the minister to question without notice 519(2)(a) regarding the end of the terms of the two coal contracts was 30 June 2001 and 30 June 2030.
