As a supplementary question, is the minister able to confirm that police officers have had vasectomies and breast augmentations subsidised? Mr PRINCE

In the time I have had available, I have been told that that may be the case. I do not have details, Mr Speaker, but you can bet your life that I will get them. Commissioner Falconer came to this State and found this was the situation. Nowhere else in Australia is this the situation. Commissioner Falconer tried to have this entitlement negotiated out. Even the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission said that he could not do it because it is an entitlement. It gives police officers the ability to have full medical expenses paid for an accident that may happen outside work and for elective surgery of any nature. Does the member think they should have that entitlement? A Labor Government gave it to them. I will negotiate so that it will cease, because it should not exist any more. Retired police officers with continuing medical problems are the people who should be looked after.
