They are: · Daily news clippings from Media Monitors; ·The SME Daily Briefing from LexisNexis which is an electronic service providing information on daily headlines; and · The WA Business News Weekly Alert , which is part of the SBDC's subscription to the WA Business News. (3) The costs of each of these services are outlined below: ·The monthly retainer charged by Media Monitors is $390.50. There are also additional costs for copyright and costs per fax, photocopy and/or email. · The SME Daily Briefing annual subscription fee is approximately $400.00. The SBDC has negotiated a free trial for a period of 12 months. ·WA Business News charges $539.09 each for three subscriptions. (4-6) The contract with Media Monitors is for a period of two years, and commenced on 1 February 2006. The free trial period with LexisNexis is for a period of one year and commenced in November 2006. The contract with WA Business News will be for a period of two years commencing 1 March 2007.
