(c) The Regional Aboriginal Events Scheme commenced in 2018-19.
(d) Other Aboriginal tourism initiatives include:
o $80 000 for the Aboriginal Export-Ready Product Distribution Program to assist Aboriginal tourism businesses to a more sustainable operating model by expanding product packaging opportunities for the domestic and international markets;
o $20 000 for the Australian Indigenous Tourism Conference held in Lorne, Victoria;
o $12 000 for the Aboriginal Tourism Development Initiative to mentor and train Perth based Aboriginal tourism businesses, co-funded by Indigenous Business Australia and the City of Perth and administered by the Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Council; and
o $30 000 for a social media campaign to promote Aboriginal tourism businesses in Perth and surrounding areas, and the start of the tourist season in the Kimberley.
