(a) appointed to any State Government position (ie board, taskforce or committee);
(b) paid a salary as a staff member of any Ministerial Office or in a State Government public sector position; or
(c) received any State Government contract or consultancy?
(2) If yes to any part of (1), could the Premier detail the nature of the paid or unpaid position or positions to which the Hon Hendy Cowan was appointed, or the nature of the contract or consultancy?
(3) If yes to (1), on what date was the appointment made, or the contract or consultancy awarded?
(4) If yes to (1), what is the monetary value of any appointment, contract or consultancy made?

Please find below answers for all Departments and Agencies within the Premier's responsibilities. For all other Departments and Agencies outside of the Premier's authority, the Member should direct his question to the relevant Minister required.
The government has had to establish some reviews to identify the problems we have inherited and chart a course forward to improve services to the community that have been neglected since 2001.
The government identified it had inherited more than 1200 boards and committees. Work is being done to reduce this number.
