I refer to page 416 of Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 2, the line-item "Court and Tribunal Services", and to continuing delays in criminal trials as outlined on page 417, and I ask: (a) has the Department examined the South Australian Criminal Priority Programme and its potential to reduce criminal trial delays in Western Australia (WA); and (b) if yes to (a), what assessment has been made of its suitability for adaptation to WA courts?
