The Minister Replied:
(1) The Department of Environmental Protection currently has 43 premises licensed under the Environmental Protection Act 1986, on which water is extracted and discharged into the environment to allow mining of ore. See tabled paper.
(2-3) The scope of these questions is very broad and would require extensive resources to answer. If the Hon Member is able to specify which particular mine is of interest a suitable answer could be provided.
