AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(3) The
investigation is ongoing and is the statutory responsibility of the Department
of Water and Environmental Regulation, and as such I have no oversight of the
department's investigation. However, I
can confirm that no litigation has been initiated at this stage by the
departments for which I am responsible.
(4) I am advised
by the Minister for Agriculture and Food that the vegetation regeneration is
underway at Yakka Munga station. The 2020 site inspection has been delayed due
to travel restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
