I refer to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Western Australian NDIS trials underway in
the Perth hills and South West (Cockburn-Kwinana), and I ask: (a) will people with disabilities who are over the age of
65, and living in a trial expansion area or a trial site, continue to be funded
at their current level of disability support funding; (b) will the State Government continue to fund people with
disabilities over the age of 65 living in a trial expansion area or a trial
site; (c) will the Federal Government continue to fund people
with disabilities over the age of 65 living in a trial expansion area or a
trial site; (d) will people with disabilities over the age of 65
living in a trial expansion area or a trial site be funded during the trial; (e) how many people with disabilities over the age of 65 live in the NDIS Perth hills trial site; (f) will people with disabilities over the age of 65
living in a trial expansion area or a trial site be funded after the trials are
concluded; (g) how many people with disabilities in supported accommodation over the age of 65 live in the NDIS Perth hills trial site; (h) how many people with disabilities over the age of 65 live in the Western Australian NDIS trial sites; and (i) how many people with disabilities in supported

(a-d) The Western Australian and Commonwealth Governments have committed to providing people with disability over the age of 65 who live in a NDIS trial site with access to disability supports consistent with their current arrangements.
(e) As at 30 June 2016 there were 93 people with disability over the age of 65 living in the Perth Hills trial site, who were known to the Disability Services Commission (the Commission).
(f) People aged 65 years or older and receiving State and Commonwealth Government funding or provided disability supports and services will continue to have access to their current level of support after the WA NDIS and NDIS trials have concluded.
(g) As at 30 June 2016 there were approximately 22 people with disability over the age of 65 living in supported accommodation owned or funded by the Commission in the NDIS Perth Hills trial site. This may include people receiving support through the NDIA.
(h) As at 30 June 2016 there were 68 people with disability over the age of 65 living in the Western Australian NDIS trial sites that were known to the Commission. (i) As at 30 June 2016 there were approximately six people with disability over the age of 65 living in supported accommodation owned or funded by the Commission in the Western Australian NDIS trial sites.
